Why a DJ?

The DJ is the most important and cost effective person that you will consider for your event. Your party is an entertainment function; therefore it must be entertainment driven. You want your guest to dance and have a good time and be "entertained" for the duration of the event. We understand the value and expense of your event and will listen to your suggestions and offer our opinions based on years of experience.

Remember:

Your entertainment provider contributes more than 80% to the success of your party. This is very inexpensive compared to the cost of renting the facility, the food and the drinks. If your guests leave early, you have wasted money.
We work for you and will strive to be our best at every event. Our standards and ethics are high. We are honest, reliable and professional. This is why we are set apart from the majority, have a solid reputation and have gained trust by our clients.

We provide music at many different venues for wedding receptions, corporate events, school dances, reunions, birthday parties and any other event where good music is appreciated.

If your event is a wedding reception:

The food is important, but if you do not have music, everyone would leave after the meal.

The flowers are pretty, but they do not add to the longevity of the party.

The photographs are a documentary of the event; they do not keep people there for four hours.

The cake is beautiful and enjoyed by all to see and eat, but is not a contributing factor for the duration of the party.

If your event is a school, birthday, reunion or other event:

Music is the most important item there and must be tailored for your event. At Charleston Entertainment we pride ourselves in knowing what kind of music to play at every event.

The disco lights, smoke and bubble machines that we bring add atmosphere to your event.

If your event includes Karaoke:

We furnish the singers with up to two cordless microphones so that there is no tangling of wires. We furnish a library of over 3000 songs to choose from sorted by song title and artist.
